Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 30 days if required
- Ability to obtain California Food Handler Card within 30 days if required
- Physical ability to stand and walk for full shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Food runner or bus person experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to understand written English
- Ability to manage physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs
- Organized with effective time management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Transport food items to kitchens to replenish supplies as needed
- Clear dirty table settings quickly and reset tables promptly and consistently
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of service stations including silverware, linen, and condiments
- Wipe down dining area furniture and clean floors as necessary
- Serve guests with beverages, breads, and butter to start their dining experience and replenish as required
- Assist servers with food and beverage delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
- Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning
