Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma preferred
- at least two years of bartending experience
- knowledge of French and Californian cuisine
- ability to speak, understand, read and write English
- ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- ability to communicate effectively with team and guests
- capable of standing or walking for long periods
- able to multitask efficiently
- willingness to adhere to company grooming and uniform standards
- open availability
- hotel or fine dining experience preferred

Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables
- prep for service
- take used plates, utensils and drinkware to dishwasher area
- provide highest quality of service to customers
- arrange dining room to cater to number of guests
- work as a team in a fast paced Forbes rated environment
- set up dining room area according to Mar'sel standards
- consistently keep restaurant organized and clean
- set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils and to-go containers at start of shift
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china and glass throughout the day
- set up heat lamps or umbrellas per guest's request
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- anticipate and address guests' service needs
- speak with others using clear and professional language
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to service standards
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and Forbes standards
- run food and bus tables
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals
- move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
- adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- be responsible for cleanliness of immediate work area and general property
- subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by company policy
- be courteous to all guests and coworkers
- maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in employee handbook
