As a Server Assistant at Poza, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by seamlessly supporting the service team in a fast-paced yet elegant environment. This hybrid position includes responsibilities traditionally associated with both bussers and food runners. You will be instrumental in maintaining a pristine dining and poolside environment, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages, and anticipating guest needs subtly and efficiently. The role demands a strong sense of pace, meticulous attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a food runner or busser preferred
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • valid Alcohol Beverage Control license required
  • valid Food Handling certification required

  • Previous experience as a food runner or busser in a luxury or upscale dining environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guest tables, ensuring proper presentation and accompaniments
  • clear and reset tables swiftly and gracefully while maintaining a clean, organized environment
  • support servers with guest requests, water and beverage refills, and service pacing
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth coordination and guest satisfaction
  • assist in maintaining cleanliness and setup of the rooftop dining and poolside areas
  • uphold the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and hospitality
