We are currently seeking a motivated Bar Back / Busser / Server Assistant to join our versatile team. This multi-faceted role is vital in supporting the smooth operation of the dining floor and bar area, ensuring that customers receive prompt and friendly service in a clean environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall customer experience. These include cleaning and resetting tables, removing dirty dishes promptly, replenishing table linens, setting tables with appropriate supplies such as condiments, and servicing guests by providing water and other items as needed. You will work closely with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain a functional and well-stocked environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail to ensure every table and bar area meets the establishment's standards.
The successful candidate thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere, enjoys managing multiple priorities efficiently, and is proactive about maintaining cleanliness and safety in guest areas. You will also be instrumental in maintaining inventory levels and assisting management with improving operational functionality. Candidates must be physically capable, including safely lifting objects up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Job Duties
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty linens
- Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service
- Stock the bar with all essential supplies for the on-going daily operation
- Keep the back of house in a clean and operating functional state, with strict inventory and stocking measures
- Attend immediately to any spills or customer hazards in common space
- Ensure the state of the store is properly maintained throughout your shift
- Assist management in maintaining and improving store functionality
- Ability to lift objects up to 50lb safely
