The current opportunity available is for a part-time, non-management Food and Beverage team member to join the dynamic staff at the Walt Disney World Swan. This role is evening shift preferred and focuses on delivering professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage services to all hotel guests. The position involves various responsibilities associated with maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of dining areas and ensuring that service standards meet the high expectations of both Marriott and Westin brands. Ideal candidates are those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy guest interaction, and are committed to supporting team efforts to provide excellent service.

In this role, associates will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, serving water, bread, and coffee with attention to detail and professionalism, and assisting with setting up and cleaning tables. They will also be tasked with cleaning and managing the presentation of all dishware and dining utensils, and assisting in closing duties such as storing reusable goods and securing the dining environment at the end of shifts. This position requires a careful adherence to health, safety, and security protocols, reflecting the company’s dedication to a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

Job Duties

  • Provide professional and courteous food and beverage service to guests
  • clean and set up tables in the outlet
  • serve water, bread, and coffee to guests
  • greet guests by name when possible
  • stack trays properly for efficient unloading
  • complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment, restocking items, turning off lights, and locking doors
  • set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • follow all company and safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • perform physical tasks involving lifting and moving objects
  • complete other reasonable duties as requested
