This role as a Food Runner is an integral part of our restaurant’s service team. The position entails setting up and clearing tables, stocking all service stations, and assisting food servers to ensure a seamless guest dining experience. Compensation for this role is competitive, offering $16.90 per hour. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining spaces and stations across all meal periods. You will serve guests with initial beverages, breads, and butter while replenishing items as needed. Additionally, the position demands adherence to safety protocols and sustainability guidelines, emphasizing the importance of responsible work habits. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending and reaching. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, attentive to detail, and eager to contribute to a high-performing hospitality team. Potential career development paths include advancement to Food Runner, Restaurant Server, and eventually Restaurant Floor Manager. Job Duties

  • Clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods
  • Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
  • Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
