Job Requirements
- any combination of education training or experience providing required knowledge skills and abilities
- prior hospitality experience preferred

- professional attitude towards guests coworkers and management
- ability to perform all related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- basic knowledge of menu items and wine list
- effective team player with ability to work efficiently with others
- knowledge of restaurant layout
- ability to observe all safety procedures while performing duties
- compliance with restaurant policies on uniform hygiene and grooming
- ability to read write and speak English sufficiently to understand menus communicate with guests and record orders
Job Duties
- prepare any necessary setup to perform the job properly including completing side-work
- quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting
- reset all service ware promptly quietly and consistently as prescribed
- maintain stock and cleanliness of all service stations during meal periods including silverware linen and condiments
- serve guests with beverages bread and butter in a friendly and courteous manner and replenish as necessary
- transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for cleaning
- keep the workstation clean
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard restaurant cleaning products to maintain health standards
- perform other duties such as cleaning spills and responding to special guest requests to ensure total satisfaction
- remove garbage bags and bins from restaurant and bar
- report to supervisor before ending shift
- attend pre-shift meetings to review service details specials and important information
- consistently attend company training programs as scheduled
