Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk extensively
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
- Valid food handler’s permit required
- Ability to communicate respectfully and honestly
- Basic math skills for POS operation
- Age 18 or older
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff
- Have knowledge of service, food, and beverage preferred
- Possess a valid Tulsa Health Department Food Handler’s License and comply with all THD guidelines
- Hold a valid ABLE Commission LBW license and comply with all ABLE laws
- Have POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours
Job Duties
- Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures
- Ensure each plate is perfectly prepared by tracking cooking times on all orders, checking finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation
- Deliver food to the correct table, guaranteeing every guest receives exactly what they've ordered, just the way they like it
- Run and clear all plates in the dining room, bar, and private rooms
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities of the assigned area including set-up, stocking, replenishing, and daily preparation
- Carry trays with plates and glassware
- Maintain an eye for detail
- Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Stand for several hours and walk for long periods
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
- Be knowledgeable in all JTR Group products and offerings served
- Obtain Tulsa County Food Handlers Permit
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
