The position available is for a part-time Server Assistant at Next Door by Wegmans, located at 3220 Monroe Ave in Pittsford, NY. This role is essential for supporting the front-of-house team during afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, with hours beginning as early as 3:30 pm from Tuesday through Saturday. The pay starts at $10.70 per hour plus tips, aligning with the New York State minimum wage for tipped employees and including a tip credit when applicable.

As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring an outstanding dining experience by providing assistance to servers and expediters, helping with smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, and maintaining the quality and timely delivery of food orders. The responsibilities of this role include assisting servers in meeting guest needs, delivering dishes promptly with attention to food integrity, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas, and supporting both the front and back of house teams with proactive help. The Server Assistant also contributes to sanitation efforts and continues to build food and beverage knowledge through ongoing training and participation in menu updates and beverage classes.
