Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and high-energy individual for the position of Server Assistant. This role is an integral part of our service team and requires someone who is outgoing, adaptable, and eager to learn. The Server Assistant will support various service aspects in the restaurant, helping to create and maintain an exciting, inviting, and progressive dining environment. Duties in this role include guest relations, supporting servers, assisting with food running and bussing, and helping with opening and closing tasks. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of performing multiple roles in a fast-paced setting. The Server Assistant contributes significantly to the overall guest experience by maintaining attention to detail, displaying a pleasant demeanor, and working closely with the team to deliver top-notch hospitality. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to serve alcohol legally
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Physically able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of performing all restaurant functions
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Good vision including close, color, and peripheral vision

Job Duties

  • Support guest relations by providing timely and efficient service with a focus on quality
  • Maintain keen attention to detail while serving the team and promoting teamwork
  • Assist the service team by performing responsibilities of server assistant, busser, and food runner
  • Greet tables, provide water, and coordinate the timing and delivery of courses
  • Assist with side work and ensure proper opening and closing of the restaurant
  • Exemplify hospitality in all interactions with guests, vendors, and community members
  • Promote the restaurant’s eco-conscious vision and support staff as needed
