The Lyric Theatre in New York, an ATG Entertainment venue, is currently hiring part-time Food and Beverage Service Team Members, specifically for Server and Runner roles. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.76, with varied working hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week based on business volume. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for theatre and hospitality and want to contribute to an exceptional guest experience. As a member of the Food and Beverage Service Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining sales targets for the venue and ensuring smooth, safe operational flow within a high-energy environment.
The role involves friendly, professional service with various server positions such as Coat Check, Delivered-at-Seat, and Kiosk services. There are also opportunities to train as a Bartender or Lounge Attendant depending on skill level. Comprehensive training and shadow shifts are provided and compensated at the hourly rate. Initially, the role remains untipped until training is complete and skill proficiency is demonstrated. The role demands a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset focused on creating an ideal customer experience fortheatregoers attending Broadway shows. Team members must be able to work independently and with others, respond well to critiques and changes, and prioritize patrons’ needs while maintaining safety. Experience in fast-paced front-of-house environments and food service is preferred, alongside certifications in food safety such as TIPS, Food Handler’s, or Serve Safe. Bilingual skills are considered a plus. Physical demands include frequent travel up and down stairs, standing for the duration of the shift, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Availability for weekends, matinees, and holidays is preferred, reflecting the show schedules typical of Broadway theatrical productions.

Job Qualifications
