The Server position at Four Points by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore is an integral role within the hotel's Food & Beverage team. The individual in this role is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience, ensuring that guests receive attentive and efficient service. This role demands a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented professional who is capable of multitasking and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with AM shifts requiring open availability including weekends and holidays. The hourly wage is competitive and is supplemented by tips, catering to individuals who enjoy dynamic work environments and interaction with diverse guests.

As a Server, you will be the face of the restaurant service within the hotel, tasked with welcoming guests warmly and professionally, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and delivering these efficiently. Knowledge of menu items, ongoing specials, and brand promotions is essential to make informed recommendations to guests. Maintaining guest satisfaction by promptly addressing needs and ensuring a clean and organized dining area is a critical part of this role. Additionally, Servers support banquet functions and special events, working collaboratively with kitchen staff and other hotel teams to uphold the highest standards of service.

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
  • Prepare and reset tables in accordance with brand standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room, lounge, and service stations
  • Process guest payments accurately using POS systems
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Assist with banquet functions and special events as needed
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel team members
