  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have at least 1 year server experience
  • Wine, beer, and spirit knowledge preferred
  • MAST certification required
  • Food permit required

Job Duties

  • Greet the guest, take all food and beverage orders
  • Pre-bus tables in your station
  • Maintain a clean dining area at all times
  • Responsible for receiving all payments
  • Performing necessary opening/closing and side work duties
  • Prepare food items for guests such as dishing up oatmeal, soup, making toast, dinner salads, bread, etc
  • Assist other servers with their tables
  • Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par
  • Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered
  • Be familiar with the operating procedures of all other areas of the hotel, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with those areas to assure customer satisfaction
  • Be a team player and encourage the teamwork attitude among staff
  • Attend department and inter-departmental meetings
  • Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities
  • Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures
  • Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure total guest satisfaction
  • Follow supervisor's instructions and perform other duties as directed or assigned
