Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, IT, or related field
- Minimum five years related full-time paid experience
- Ability to work after hours and weekends
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Compliance with institutional policies and procedures
- Licensure or certification preferred in Microsoft M365, VMware, Citrix, Rubrik, Linux or Security+
- For HSC applicants, pass required background checks
- For TTU applicants, pass background and drug/alcohol tests
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or related area
- Five years of related full-time paid experience
- Experience administering Microsoft M365 suite, Exchange online, Windows Server 2022/2019, VMware Vsphere, Red Hat Linux, Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop, ADFS/SAML preferred
- Knowledge of enterprise class systems including Electronic Health Records, Imaging Systems, Virtual desktops, Application Servers, Active Directory Servers, Storage, hyperconverged infrastructure, backups, monitoring products
- Experience managing complex data center or systems administration projects
- Advanced knowledge in infrastructure for clinical/dental medicine systems compliant with HIPAA and industry standards
Job Duties
- Manage TTUHSCEP email and collaboration environment including user accounts, mailboxes, security settings, ensure smooth email flow and system performance
- Implement, administer, upgrade, maintain and secure enterprise applications such as Medical Records servers, EMR, PACS, LMS, Netscaler, VMWare, XenApp, VDI, ADFS/SAML, Research apps
- Maintain, administer and monitor Data Centers infrastructure onsite and online M365 ensuring availability, reliability, safety and recoverability
- Work after hours and weekends as needed, monitor network and data center services during on call schedule
- Administer, configure and monitor backup, recovery and business continuity infrastructure including M365 and Active Directory backups
- Monitor systems and servers performance, troubleshoot application infrastructure and server issues
- Lead projects and collaborate with internal and external parties, evaluate, plan, migrate, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 services
- Administer and enhance Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Stay current with licensure, certifications and mandatory trainings
- Adhere to institutional policies and demonstrate TTUHSC EP's values
- Perform additional duties as assigned
