Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must possess at least an 8th grade proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication
  • Positive attitude and love for working with seniors
  • Must be physically active and capable of standing and moving for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility including after falls
  • Must be cleared criminally

Job Qualifications

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at 8th grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility needs
  • Criminal background clearance

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • Be present in the dining room and engage with residents
  • Prepare tables and salads for meal service
  • Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining area
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
  • Assist persons after a fall
  • Foster a friendly and social environment for residents
