The Front of House Server role at Eureka! is a dynamic, fast-paced position focused on providing exceptional food and beverage service. Reporting directly to the General Manager and indirectly to other management members, this non-exempt role requires individuals who can bring an outgoing personality and a genuine passion for the brand. Servers play a critical role in greeting guests with warmth and attention to detail, ensuring that every guest’s needs are met promptly and with professionalism. The position demands strong knowledge of craft beer and whiskey to offer knowledgeable recommendations and enhance the overall guest experience.
Those in this role will work closely with the kitchen and bar teams, maintaining an efficient workflow by mastering Eureka!’s ticket writing procedures, abbreviations, and point-of-sale system. The role also includes responsibilities such as handling cash and credit card transactions accurately, observing state and federal laws regarding alcohol service, and performing opening and closing duties including cleaning and food preparation. The position requires physical stamina due to prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and working in a sometimes loud and physically demanding environment.

Job Duties
- Greet all guests with personal style and a warm smile
- attend to the needs of all guests in a professional and courteous manner
- memorize and execute Eureka's abbreviations and ticket writing procedures
- efficiently operate the point-of-sale system
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu and bar items
- prepare and serve beverages according to standards
- deliver food and drink orders accurately to tables and bar seats
- bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
- polish and roll silverware
- replenish condiments as needed
- maintain expeditor and wait stations
- assist in seating guests and answering the telephone
- perform opening and closing duties such as cleaning and food prep
- handle cash and credit card transactions according to procedures
- observe state and federal alcohol service laws
- work successfully in a fast-paced environment with fast foot speed
