The Server role at Buffalo Wild Wings is integral to maintaining the restaurant’s high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of serving experience in a restaurant environment preferred
- basic knowledge of beverage service including beer, wine and spirits
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- must be able to stand and move quickly for extended periods
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- possess strong customer service skills
- able to follow directions and work independently as well as part of a team
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- must comply with local alcohol service laws and age verification

Job Duties
- Inspire legendary experiences between friends for guests by creating an atmosphere of happiness and a sense of community
- inform guests of specials and promotions, answering questions and making suggestions
- use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance experience
- address guest concerns and inform manager
- promote excellence, cooperation and teamwork within the company
- support and assist team members
- set-up, maintain and operate dining and bar areas
- check guest identification to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
- adhere to standardized portion sizes, quality standards and department procedures
- take drink and food orders and accurately input into register system
- ensure correct drinks and food are delivered to the table
- collect payment and process credit card transactions
- practice safe food handling and cleanliness standards
- sweep, mop and/or brush floors and post 'wet floor' signs as needed
- buss tables and ensure marketing materials and menus are positioned appropriately
- ensure PCI credit card compliance
- unload trucks, pallets, and cases of food and beverage and place them in assigned locations
- perform other duties as assigned
