Job Description
Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and a diverse portfolio of hotel brands. One of its distinguished collections, the Autograph Collection, showcases independent 4 and 5-star hotels that each bring a unique and memorable experience to travelers. Located in Dearborn, Michigan, the Dearborn Inn Autograph Collection is part of this prestigious group. This historic hotel blends classic charm with modern amenities, offering guests an inviting atmosphere and personalized service that sets it apart in the competitive hotel market.
The role available at the Dearborn Inn Autograph Collection is a Food and Beverage service position. This part-time, non-management role plays a crucial part in creating an unforgettable dining experience for guests beyond merely serving food and beverages. Employees in this role, known as Guest Service Experts, take the initiative to offer a range of hospitality services designed to enhance the overall guest experience. This includes setting tables, interacting with kitchen staff, engaging guests through service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas.
Beyond the tangible tasks, the role emphasizes the creation of a welcoming and memorable environment for guests, ensuring that every transaction contributes positively to the guest's experience. Guest Service Experts must maintain a professional appearance, follow company procedures, uphold quality standards, and contribute to a safe work environment. The position demands physical activity such as standing, walking, and moving items up to 50 pounds, as well as reaching and bending to access different areas.
The schedule requires flexibility with a preference for open availability, including day and evening shifts (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 4:15 PM to 10:30 PM). While this position does not require supervisory experience, it seeks individuals who are reliable, customer-focused, and eager to become part of a global team dedicated to excellence in hospitality.
Joining the Dearborn Inn Autograph Collection means becoming part of an inspiring community that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Marriott International promotes a welcoming environment that celebrates the unique backgrounds and talents of its employees, ensuring that everyone feels valued and empowered. The Autograph Collection specifically caters to the Individualist traveler who seeks unique, personalized experiences, making this role an exciting opportunity to contribute to a brand that prioritizes quality, character, and boldness.
This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment where your efforts directly enhance guest satisfaction. You will be supported in your professional growth and have access to a network within one of the most trusted hospitality companies worldwide. With Marriott International, you are not just taking a job — you are beginning a career where your purpose, passion, and best work come together to craft remarkable experiences for guests every day.
