This job opening is for a Server position within IHOP, offering both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with flexible schedules to accommodate various availability including day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and the possibility of overtime. The compensation structure includes tips, which reward employees for providing high-quality service. The server plays a critical role in the restaurant by ensuring that guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service from the moment they enter until they leave. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking and serving orders, handling guest payments, clearing and resetting tables, and adhering to all company standards and procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Job Duties

  • Provide promptly, efficient, courteous service to all guests

  • Handle guest remittance as required
  • Clear dishes and reset tables
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and guests
  • Execute the “Service Guidelines” per IHOP SOP
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and courteously
  • Memorize and apply IHOP terminology, abbreviations, methodologies, and menu knowledge
  • Comply with SOP methods for guest checks and server banking procedures
  • Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining room
  • Comply with local and SOP health, sanitation, and safety guidelines
