Job Description

Glenmoor Country Club is a prestigious private club known for its exceptional hospitality and commitment to providing members and guests with superior service in a beautiful setting. Nestled within a vibrant community, Glenmoor offers world-class golf facilities, exquisite dining experiences, and an array of social events tailored to enhance members' recreational and leisure lifestyles. As a cornerstone of community engagement and tradition, Glenmoor is dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere where every member and guest feels valued and cared for.

The Food & Beverage Department plays a critical role in delivering the club's outstanding service standards. Among the dedicated team members, the Halfway House Attendant holds a vital position in ensuring that members and their guests receive friendly, efficient, and timely food and beverage services, particularly at the turn during a round of golf. This is a seasonal, non-exempt hourly position offering a competitive rate starting at $15.16 plus gratuities.

As a Halfway House Attendant at Glenmoor Country Club, you will engage directly with members and guests, embodying the club’s hospitality values through warm greetings and attentive service. Your responsibilities include preparing a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, as well as assembling simple food items consistent with the club’s menu. Accuracy is key, as you will process orders through the Club Essential POS system, ensuring that all requests are fulfilled correctly and promptly.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area is vital to the smooth operation of the Halfway House. You will be responsible for the upkeep of counters, equipment, and guest-facing areas, adhering to stringent cleanliness and food safety standards. The role requires monitoring inventory levels and communicating restocking needs to management proactively. Additionally, the Halfway House Attendant contributes to the overall team effort by assisting with opening, running, and closing side work and supporting special events or additional service requirements as directed.

This position suits individuals who thrive in service-oriented roles, possess strong communication and multitasking skills, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality. Working independently in a small service environment requires confidence, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, alongside a basic to moderate knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Given that the Halfway House is located outdoors, the ability to work extended periods in varying weather conditions is essential, as is a readiness to perform light physical tasks such as lifting supplies and frequent bending or reaching.

At Glenmoor Country Club, the Halfway House Attendant is an ambassador of the club's service excellence, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the member experience during every visit to the course. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a prestigious setting, with opportunities to develop skills in hospitality, customer service, and food and beverage operations.
