Within this dynamic environment, the role of the Restaurant Server is pivotal to delivering an exceptional guest experience. This hourly position demands an individual who excels in providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests in multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurants, lounges, and room service. The Restaurant Server is responsible not only for accurately taking and delivering food and drink orders but also for processing payments and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a friendly manner are essential to succeed in this role.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and move throughout dining areas carrying trays
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must attend required meetings and trainings

Job Qualifications

- Ability to exert medium physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand for entire shifts and maneuver carrying full trays
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to listen, understand, and resolve concerns raised by guests and employees
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
- Be familiar with the organization of restaurants, lounges, and room service including job functions
- Have thorough knowledge of menu items and current specials
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service of food and beverages
- Pre-bus tables by removing soiled dishes after courses
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
- Perform cashiering tasks including closing checks and preparing end-of-shift paperwork
- Conduct opening and closing procedures and complete side-work duties according to assigned station
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of tables and side stands
- Ensure beverages such as coffee, tea, soda, water, and lemonade are at least three-quarters full
- Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linens in the dishroom using established standards
- Answer telephones professionally and according to standards
- Consistently upsell food, beverages, and promotional items
- Be familiar with fire extinguisher locations and usage
- Receive and deliver food and beverage orders and collect payments
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
