This job opportunity is for a part-time Server position at Red Lobster, a role that involves direct guest interaction and requires excellent customer service skills. As a Server, you will welcome customers promptly with a friendly smile, suggest drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance their dining experience, and accurately take food and beverage orders to be entered into the point-of-sale (POS) system. You will be responsible for timely delivery of orders, ensuring that guests receive attentive service, including offering beverage refills and promptly removing unused items. Servers must efficiently handle the presentation and settling of bills and invite customers to return, reinforcing a positive impression of the restaurant. Strict adherence to food safety regulations is required to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
The physical demands of the Server role include the ability to stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts, bend, reach, squat, and safely carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Employees must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States. Successful candidates should be capable of working effectively as part of a team with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
- suggest the sale of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- accurately take food and beverage orders and correctly enter them into the POS system
- collect and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- ensure the customer is well taken care of, offer drink refills and clear any unused items
- deliver and settle the bill promptly, thank customers and invite them to return
- follow all food safety regulations
