Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Six months of server experience
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and remain on feet for up to 10 hours
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Comfort discussing food, wine, and the Wine Club
Job Qualifications
- At least six months of server experience
- Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred
- Comfort speaking about food, wine, and Wine Club programs
- Passion for hospitality and teamwork
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in fast-paced settings
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays
Job Duties
- Show up ready by arriving on time and in proper uniform
- Know the menu, wine list, and steps of service
- Use the POS system and handle payments accurately
- Understand and promote the benefits of Cooper's Hawk Wine Club
- Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures for opening, mid-shift, and closing
- Take responsibility to support the team and fill in where needed
- Serve food and drinks swiftly and attentively
- Ensure legal guidelines for alcohol service are upheld
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, hosts, runners, bartenders, and managers
- Anticipate guest and team needs and maintain service flow
- Welcome guests warmly, use their names, and celebrate milestones
- Answer questions and make genuine recommendations
- Educate guests on Wine Club perks and invite them to join
- Create memorable moments by going beyond expectations
- Share the Wine Club story and encourage participation
- Introduce wine tastings and enhance guest experience
- Let your personality shine and personalize every interaction
