We are currently seeking energetic and dedicated Food & Beverage Staff to join our vibrant team, specifically hiring for the Server position. As a Server at HSS, you will be at the forefront of guest interactions, responsible for delivering warm and professional service in various dining settings. You will collaborate closely with fellow team members to maintain high standards of food and beverage service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and attended to. This role is more than just serving food; it is about creating a hospitable atmosphere where guests are treated with respect and attentiveness.

Your duties will involve greeting guests, accurately taking and processing orders using industry-standard POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and skillfully upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. You will also manage cash transactions, assist with food preparation, and contribute to the cleanliness and organization of dining areas to uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards.

This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, the ability to work efficiently on your feet for extended periods, and a strong capacity to work as part of a team. Candidates with at least one year of experience in food and beverage service are preferred, but most importantly, we seek individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an outstanding guest experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport quickly
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
  • Previous experience in host or hostess roles or serving positions is highly desirable
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and presentation standards

Job Duties
