Job Requirements
- Must have the legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Should have at least 1 year of f&b experience
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays
- Willing to do heavy lifting
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport quickly
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Previous experience in host or hostess roles or serving positions is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and presentation standards
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
