The Server position at Reveille Management LLC is a critical role that directly impacts guest satisfaction and the overall dining experience. Reporting to both the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Server is responsible for greeting guests with warmth and courtesy, efficiently seating them, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring that all needs are met throughout the meal. This position requires not only friendly and prompt service but also a strong knowledge of the menu and the ability to suggestively sell items to enhance guest satisfaction and boost sales.
Servers at Reveille Management LLC are expected to master key business areas, including timely service cycle adherence, effective guest seating using rotation procedures, precise order entry using point-of-sale systems, and assisting with both in-house dining and take-out orders. Beyond serving food and beverages, the Server plays a collaborative role by maintaining cleanliness, performing side-work including deep cleaning, and supporting fellow team members without being prompted. The role demands a person capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency, and possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Physical stamina is also essential for this role, as the Server must be able to lift supplies and trays, stand and walk during shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours, and operate amidst the noise and bustle of a busy restaurant environment. Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
- ability to stand and walk throughout a 4-to-8-hour shift
- ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
- ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
- able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grab
- sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area

- must meet health regulations pertaining to food handling
- ability to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
- must be able to serve all Denny’s menu products

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a customer service or restaurant environment beneficial
- ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- excellent guest service skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- ability to follow instructions and learn basic tasks

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously
- seat guests according to proper arrival order and rotation procedures
- take and accurately enter food and beverage orders using point-of-sale system
- suggestively sell menu items to achieve guest check average targets
- prepare beverages and assist with appetizers, salads, and desserts
- deliver orders timely and check for completeness and presentation
- attend to guests during dining experience with prompt and courteous service
- pre-bus, clear, clean, and preset tables
- address guest complaints and requests politely and notify supervisors as needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- complete all required side-work including deep cleaning assignments
- adhere to Denny’s brand standards and internal policies
