The Server position is an integral role within the Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport, part of Choice's managed hotels portfolio that also includes other reputable brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. Located minutes from the Nashville airport and close to vibrant Music City attractions, this hotel offers a welcoming, supportive, and teamwork-driven environment that fosters professional growth and skill development in hospitality.

This role is designed for individuals who are friendly, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences. The Server's primary responsibility is to create 100 percent guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, efficient, and genuine food and beverage service in both the restaurant and banquet settings. This includes guiding guests through menu selections, accurately taking and delivering orders, refreshing beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and assisting with banquet functions when needed.

Beyond transactional service, the Server embodies the Radisson experience by providing genuine hospitality that exceeds guest expectations consistently. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and demands physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, maneuvering banquet setups, and standing for extended periods. Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year restaurant serving experience, preferably in an upscale high volume environment
  • Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol based on applicable state law
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations
  • Thorough understanding of safe and perceptive service
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to do basic math and handle cash
  • Ability to work with Point of Sale systems (training provided)
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize needs effectively
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds occasionally for short periods
  • Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, stages and other banquet meeting fixtures
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for extended periods constantly

Job Duties

  • Provides food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant and banquets
  • Provides guest with overview of menu choices
  • Takes guest’s order and provides explanation of menu as appropriate
  • Organizes orders for presentation, delivery to guest table or room
  • Replenishes water where needed
  • Makes and pours coffee for the customers
  • Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods
  • Cleans tables, chairs and floor area daily utilizing proper sanitation guidelines
  • Resets table quickly
  • Polishes silver and folds linens
  • Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed all guest expectations
  • Sets up beverage stations for appropriate shift by brewing coffee and setting out condiments
  • Assists in banquet functions as needed
  • Creates 100 percent guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems
  • Provides Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Assumes responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses best judgment to use the 100 percent Guest Satisfaction approach
  • Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
  • Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100 percent Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest
