Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- excellent customer service orientation
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to multitask effectively
- basic math skills for handling cash and sales transactions
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Ability to deliver plates and food and clear tables
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- ability to hear well amidst loud noise
- neat and well-groomed appearance in company-approved uniform
- proficiency in operating POS system and handling transactions
- calm response to angry guests and notifying manager
- ability to read and write notes to hearing-impaired guests
- ability to read menus to sight-impaired guests
- clear verbal communication of menu items
- ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe counters and tables
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine smile and build rapport
- customize the dining experience based on visual and verbal cues
- promptly and accurately take food and beverage orders
- ensure expedient service of food and beverages
- frequently check on guests and provide silent service as appropriate
- learn menu and beverages to expertly recommend and upsell items
- ID guests who appear 40 years old or younger ordering alcoholic beverages
- follow all Fridays service style standards
- accurately ring orders into POS system while interacting with guests
- practice conversational ordering mentioning current promotions
