The Server position involves being the primary point of contact for guests throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, answering questions about the menu, taking orders accurately using a point-of-sale system, and delivering food and beverages promptly. Servers must ensure guests are satisfied by monitoring their experience and responding swiftly to any requests or concerns. Additional duties include preparing bills, processing payments, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain smooth operations. This role requires readiness to assist fellow team members when needed and participation in all scheduled team meetings to stay informed and aligned with restaurant goals. Employees must be prepared to perform side work as directed at the start and end of each shift and fulfill additional responsibilities such as food runner shifts. The position requires the ability to work efficiently in a hot, wet, and loud environment while maintaining excellent hygiene and professional grooming habits. Candidates should possess a Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification to comply with health and safety standards. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred
  • ability to read and understand simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members
  • ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money
  • ability to operate computer point-of-sale system
  • must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • Food Handler Certification is required
  • TABC Certification is required

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • make guests feel comfortable and cared for
