Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum six months of server experience
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours
- Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays
- Comfort discussing food and wine
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Compliance with legal alcohol service guidelines
Job Qualifications
- At least six months of server experience
- Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred
- Comfort speaking about food, wine, and Wine Club offerings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced environments
- Passion for hospitality and teamwork
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
Job Duties
- Arrive on time and maintain proper uniform standards
- Know the menu, wine list, and steps of service
- Use the POS system accurately and handle payments
- Educate guests about Cooper's Hawk Wine Club and its benefits
- Follow opening, mid-shift, and closing operational procedures
- Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth service
- Serve food and drinks with speed, care, and attention to detail
- Adhere to legal guidelines for alcohol service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, hosts, runners, bartenders, and managers
- Anticipate guest and team member needs to maintain coordination
- Welcome guests warmly, use names, and celebrate milestones
- Make genuine recommendations based on guest preferences
- Create memorable moments through personalized service
- Promote Wine Club membership and participate in wine tastings
