Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Visual ability including distance, closeness, color, depth, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • For California positions, Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices beneficial
  • Ability to learn and retain menu information quickly

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service exceeding customer expectations
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the food and drink menu and confidently recommend, upsell, and support guest order selections
  • Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards
  • Ensure accurate guest orders and deliver satisfying experiences
  • Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, and ensure every customer opportunity to be WOWed is met
  • Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Support all restaurant areas as needed reflecting teamwork
