The role of Server 1 at Invited is a vital position within the food and beverage team tasked with delivering exceptional service that aligns with the company’s high standards. Server 1 focuses on applying Invited’s core 3-steps of service: warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells, which are central to enhancing guest satisfaction and retention. Reporting to the F&B Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, this non-lead role supports overall dining area operations and collaborates closely with team members to ensure a seamless and inviting dining experience. The Server 1 position requires a blend of attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, proactive service delivery, and effective teamwork. The role demands maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to the club’s high standards and safety protocols.
Beyond routine service, the Server 1 plays an important role in addressing and resolving member or guest complaints with professionalism, using service recovery techniques to uphold member satisfaction. Responsibilities also include completing daily tasks and side work to ensure that work areas are well-stocked and ready for service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service
- Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations
- Ability to stand walk and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust fumes or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders squatting kneeling reaching grasping twisting bending and folding or unfolding as required
- Able to lift carry push and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Server 1 is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests, ensuring that every interaction reflects Invited’s service standards
- This role focuses on consistently applying the 3-steps of service—warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells
- Server 1 works closely with team members to provide a seamless dining experience and plays an integral role in maintaining member satisfaction and retention
- As a non-lead role, Server 1 also supports the overall operations of the dining area and assists in service duties as required
- Reports to the F&B Director, Banquet Manager or Restaurant Manager
- Maintain high standards of service, following the Invited F&B service training program
- Provide food and beverage service to members/guests, executing orders in a timely manner
- Ensure a complete knowledge of the à la carte menu, including daily features and specials
- Greet members by name and provide a warm welcome, making them feel at home
- Assist fellow employees and ensure a seamless member/guest experience through teamwork and attention to detail
- Handle member/guest complaints with service recovery techniques, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly
- Complete daily assignments and side work, ensuring work areas are organized, clean, and well-stocked
- Follow club standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Support management by completing additional duties as assigned
- Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff
- Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations
- Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success
- Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards
