The Server role at Pizza Nova is a pivotal position, integral to the restaurant’s mission of delivering outstanding guest service. Under the guidance of the General Manager and management team, the server works as a key member of the service team responsible for attending to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner. This part-time, hourly role focuses on creating a memorable dining experience, ensuring that every guest receives attentive table service and assistance. Servers are tasked not only with order taking and food delivery but also maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area to uphold the restaurant's standards. Job Requirements
- Possess a service-oriented mindset
- Previous experience working as a server in a busy restaurant setting is desired
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize work, and ensure timely task completion in a busy, fast paced, and often changing environment
- Be willing and able to help the team to support the delivery of a top-notch guest experience
- Possess and maintain all appropriate certifications (i.e. Food Handlers Card, LEAD Training, etc.)
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a must for this position

Job Duties
- Greet tables, inform them of specialist, take accurate food/beverage orders and enter into the POS system
- Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage menus, including specials and promotional items
- Promptly deliver food, beverages, and other requested items to the guest as requested
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly per guest order and that correct food is taken from the pass out window
- Pre-Bus: proactively and efficiently removing items the guests are done with
- Actively scan assigned section and general dining area to make sure floors are clean and free of trash and debris
- Be alert of any accidents or spills and promptly clean them up following proper procedures
- Complete side work tasks such as stocking wait station, resetting tables, refilling condiments
- Be attentive to the guests and notify their server if additional items are needed
- Assist fellow staff as needed to help ensure a stellar guest experience
- Follow proper cleaning and handwashing standards
- Perform additional duties and projects, such as deep cleaning tasks, as assigned
