The current opening is for a Food and Beverage Banquet Server, a pivotal role responsible for assisting in food and beverage service and guest attention during banquet events. This position plays a critical part in ensuring seamless event execution through efficient setup, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork. As a banquet server at TBCC, you will be tasked with greeting clients warmly, setting up tables, linens, and chairs to prepare for full-service banquet events, and providing excellent food and beverage service tailored to guests' needs. Your responsibilities include verifying the age of customers for alcohol purchases, maintaining high standards of dining experience by delivering menu items promptly, fulfilling customer requests, clearing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.

Additionally, this role requires performing basic cleaning tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and communicating effectively to follow up and coordinate during events. Active participation in meetings, training sessions, and club programs is expected to support continuous professional development. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays, covering days and evenings to accommodate event timings. Job Requirements

  • Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, associates, members, and the general public
  • ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • minimum one year of customer service experience
  • food safety certified

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet clients
  • assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events
  • provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events
  • check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
  • perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
  • maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
  • active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training
  • represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
  • schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days, and evenings
