Job Description
Kahler Hospitality Group is a renowned hospitality company known for its commitment to exceptional guest service and high standards of quality across its dining and event venues. As part of the Kinseth Hotel Corporation, Kahler Hospitality Group operates a variety of hotels and restaurants dedicated to providing memorable guest experiences through attentive service, well-executed food and beverage offerings, and a professional atmosphere. Their hospitality environment is designed to cater to both casual dining and large-scale events, ensuring a seamless blend of comfort, quality, and efficiency.
The company is currently seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to join their team as Food and Beverage Servers. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $11.41 plus gratuity, providing an opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in the hospitality industry or progressing their career within a supportive and dynamic environment. The server role is essential in maintaining Kahler Hospitality Group's reputation for excellence by delivering courteous and prompt service to all guests and clients.
As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the overall guest experience. Your role will involve setting tables according to the standards set by the Food and Beverage Manager, including proper placement of linens, serviceware, and glassware. Each shift begins with a pre-shift meeting where specials, group events, and guest expectations are reviewed to ensure all team members are well-prepared and aligned in delivering excellent service.
Greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their requests is a key focus, requiring strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Serving food and beverages in accordance with Richfield's high standards ensures that guests enjoy not only quality cuisine but also a polished presentation and attentive service. Duties also include bussing dishes throughout the meal, replenishing beverages as necessary, and conducting general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
Compliance with all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations is mandatory, reflecting the establishment's commitment to responsible service. Additional responsibilities include performing side work such as restocking supplies and condiments, all while maintaining a tidy service environment. Supportive functions such as other duties assigned by supervisors help foster a team-oriented workplace where flexibility and cooperation are valued.
This role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, combining various aspects of food and beverage service while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Basic knowledge of food preparation, service etiquette, and guest relations is necessary to deliver a superior experience to each customer. The position also demands a degree of physical stamina, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, which are characteristic of a vibrant restaurant and event setting.
Kahler Hospitality Group offers more than just a job - it presents an opportunity to be part of a respected hospitality brand with benefits available after a short eligibility period. Employees can look forward to health, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid training and paid time off, as well as a referral program. Additionally, staff enjoy discounts at all Kinseth Hotel Corporation hotels and restaurants, enhancing both their professional and personal life balance.
Overall, this part-time Food and Beverage Server position at Kahler Hospitality Group is ideal for individuals seeking a rewarding role in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. With a focus on quality, service, and team collaboration, this role empowers employees to hone their hospitality skills and contribute meaningfully to memorable guest experiences.
