Servers are tasked with taking and accurately entering food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system and ensuring timely delivery of these items to the guests. Meticulous attention to maintaining clean and organized tables and service areas is essential, as well as conducting side work as assigned to keep the entire service station running smoothly.

Monitoring guest satisfaction throughout their visit is a key aspect of the role, necessitating quick and courteous responses to any guest requests or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction. Servers are also responsible for handling payments securely and efficiently and must be ready to support their colleagues generously to foster teamwork and maintain service standards. Expressing appreciation for guests' patronage and encouraging them to return helps build lasting customer relationships. Job Requirements

  • Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector required or minimum six months experience working for any of our restaurants as a host, busser or other similar guest interfacing position
  • Must have good performance and manager reference
  • 18 years of age or older as required by state law to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Food handler's card and alcohol awareness training certification where required by state and local laws
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience
  • Welcome and greet guests within two minutes of being seated
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes
  • Offer specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations either upon request or you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system before taking item to the table
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter
  • Clean and prepare the table for the arrival of menu items
  • Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • Provide proactive beverage refills
  • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system or pat at the table system
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers before they ask
  • Expresses appreciation to the guests, for their visit and invite them to return
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  • Notify the manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
  • Covers other servers duties while on break as requested by MOD and in accordance with rotation
  • Participates in scheduled catering events as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor
