Job Description

Sagora Senior Living is a distinguished operator of senior living communities that specialize in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Known for its commitment to providing superior care to residents, Sagora places a high priority on creating an environment where residents feel valued and are surrounded by a community of support and wisdom. The company prides itself on emphasizing the importance of its team members, fostering an empowering work culture where professional development and growth are encouraged. Sagora has been certified as a Great Place to Work based on team member surveys, reflecting its dedication to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace.

At Sagora, the core values of Commitment, Empowerment, Communication, Excellence, and Teamwork are not just words but are actively reflected in everyday operations and interaction with residents and team members alike. The company's name itself embodies the spirit of its mission; "Sagora" combines "Sage," meaning a wise person, and "Agora," meaning a gathering place, symbolizing the community as a gathering place of wisdom where residents and staff connect and enrich each other's lives.

The role of a Server at Sagora Senior Living is integral to the dining experience and overall satisfaction of the residents. Servers are personable and friendly individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service by ensuring that residents have an excellent experience at every meal sitting, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This role is based at one of the Sagora communities, Lynridge of Murphy, located at 304 W. FM 544 #101. The position is full-time and allows the successful candidate to be part of a team that truly cares about the well-being and happiness of their residents.

Servers at Sagora perform various tasks, from setup, meal prep, serving, cleanup to delivering meals as needed. They maintain the dining room to ensure it is presentable and service-ready and have responsibilities that include collecting dishes and utensils during mealtimes and participating in deep cleaning the kitchen monthly to uphold hygiene standards. Beyond the operational tasks, servers play a crucial role in resident engagement, ensuring timely service, prompt order taking, and addressing any special requests or needs to enhance the dining experience.

In addition to a meaningful and rewarding work environment, Sagora invests in its team members by providing comprehensive benefits such as company-paid telemedicine services, on-demand pay advances, discounts and rewards programs, health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, various flexible spending and savings accounts, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, paid time off, holiday pay, employee assistance programs, discounted meal tickets, referral bonuses, and tuition assistance for job-related education. These benefits underscore Sagora's commitment to employee wellness, security, and long-term career satisfaction.

Joining Sagora as a Server offers more than just a job; it offers an opportunity to work in a community-focused and quality-centered culture where you will build lasting relationships with residents rich in wisdom, work in a supportive team-oriented environment, and grow both personally and professionally. This role is ideal for individuals who appreciate meaningful interaction, enjoy multi-tasking in a dynamic environment, and wish to contribute positively to the lives of seniors. If you possess excellent communication skills, are organized, caring, and can effectively navigate a bustling dining service setting, Sagora welcomes your application to join their remarkable Culinary team.
