As a Full-Time, Non-Exempt Server at Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality dining services to our guests. Reporting directly to the Regional Director and General Manager, the Server position is designed for candidates who are service-oriented, attentive to detail, and able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor throughout their shifts. This role is not only about serving food and beverages but also about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and satisfies guests’ expectations.

The primary responsibilities include preparing the dining area for service by ensuring tables are clean and tidy, presenting menus, and accurately taking and delivering orders. The Server must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, showing diplomacy and a positive attitude towards guests and team members alike. Attention to detail is essential to prevent errors in food and beverage service, while organizational abilities enable efficient performance during busy periods. Hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the fluctuating demands of the hospitality business.
