The role of Server at Aqua Aston Hospitality is a casual employment opportunity with an hourly rate of $16.00 and involves working between 0 and 19 hours per week. Servers at AAH play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by assisting in providing memorable moments for resort owners and guests. They are empowered to be their best selves while representing the company’s standards of professionalism and care. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, setting tables, and ensuring that all supplies meet quality standards. Servers practice clean-as-you-go procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout their work areas and communicate any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requests to kitchen staff to guarantee guest satisfaction.

Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to explain menu items and specials clearly and perform payment transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling and gratuity policies. As a Server, fostering positive interactions with guests and colleagues enhances team goals and overall guest satisfaction. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, and involves physical activity such as reaching, bending, lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a server or customer service role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Must pass background and drug screening as required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks
  • Set tables ensuring all supplies meet quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Communicate any meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Explain menu items and specials and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
  • Present physical and accurate check and process payment, adhering to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures including added and received gratuity
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contribute to team goals
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures
