This Culinary Server role at Newcastle Place offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute directly to residents' day-to-day dining and living experience. Working as a Culinary Server means being at the heart of the hospitality team, providing excellent customer service while ensuring each meal is delivered with care and professionalism. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $19.53 plus benefits. In this role, you will greet residents and guests warmly, take accurate meal and beverage orders using electronic point-of-sale systems, and promptly serve dining selections to ensure an exceptional dining experience. Additional responsibilities include filling room service orders, expediting deliveries, clearing and resetting tables efficiently, maintaining pantry stock, and performing cleaning duties in culinary venues. This position requires someone with prior food service experience preferred, good communication skills, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Prior experience in food service operation preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic mathematics
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- General computer knowledge required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment
- Must keep a professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to safely perform essential functions of the job without harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Greet residents and guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
- Accurately take resident and guest orders, entering menu selections into a point-of-sale or similar tracking electronic system
- Serve meals and beverages in a prompt and professional manner
- Fill room service menu orders and expedite delivery and ensure all room service trays are retrieved at conclusion of dining time
- Clear tables during and after residents and guests have concluded dining
- Arrange table settings appropriately and efficiently
- Stock pantry areas with adequate supplies, complete assigned side jobs and perform thorough cleaning of the culinary venues
