The Server position at Main Event offers an exciting opportunity to be at the front lines of delivering this unique experience. This role is fundamentally about providing exceptional, timely, and enthusiastic service to every guest. Servers are a vital part of the team, acting not only as food and beverage providers but also as ambassadors of fun who contribute to the vibrant atmosphere Main Event is known for. The ideal Server will have excellent knowledge of the menu and be able to suggest items confidently while ensuring accuracy in orders. Beyond basic serving responsibilities, the role involves upholding strict sanitation and safety standards, including adherence to local and state alcohol laws.
This position demands a guest-focused mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests. As part of a fast-paced environment, Servers must anticipate guest needs and maintain a clean and safe section, performing side duties as required to support team operations. Shifts can include days, nights, and weekends, highlighting the importance of flexibility. Job Duties
- Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards
- Welcoming and greeting all guests, all while being an ambassador of fun
- Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
- Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating guest’s needs
- Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
- Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures and policies
- Processing payment transactions and welcoming our guests back
- Maintaining a clean and safe section
