Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to operate Aloha POS Micros POS or similar systems preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic cash handling skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns that may arise
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods, assisting with food preparation as needed
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated
