The role available within RMC is a vital position focused on food service and culinary support, specifically geared toward preparing and serving meals to residents in accordance with established dietary standards, policies, and procedures. This position plays a key role in maintaining the health and satisfaction of residents by ensuring food is prepared safely, attractively, and served promptly. Additionally, the role encompasses responsibilities such as cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, and properly storing food items, which all contribute to a clean and hygienic dining experience. The meal service role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining inventory control and managing guest meals efficiently. Working closely with the Culinary Director, the individual in this position will also be responsible for identifying and communicating any issues within the culinary department or any concerns related to food service and resident satisfaction. This collaborative role supports the culinary team to deliver meals that meet nutritional requirements and resident preferences, reinforcing RMC's mission of promoting wellness through quality dining experiences. Job Duties

  • Assists with preparation of food items and serves food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • cleans and maintains food service areas including kitchen and dining room
  • assists with maintaining inventory control and managing guest meals
  • washes dishes in preparation for the next meal service
  • observes and communicates to Culinary Director problems or potential problems within the culinary department and among residents
  • performs other duties as assigned
