Job Description
This employment opportunity is with a reputable restaurant committed to providing an exceptional dining experience to its guests. The establishment is known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and attentive service. This restaurant prides itself on creating a pleasant environment where guests feel comfortable and valued, supported by a team that is dedicated to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The restaurant caters to a diverse clientele, offering a menu that features a variety of dishes and beverages, and emphasizes team collaboration to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. This role is an integral part of the restaurant's mission to deliver memorable dining experiences through professionalism, enthusiasm, and attentiveness.
The position is that of a Food and Beverage Server, a critical role responsible for engaging with guests from the moment they enter until they leave. The server will welcome and greet guests, make them feel comfortable, and assist by answering questions about the menu and services. Taking and accurately entering food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system is a central part of the job, as well as delivering orders promptly from the kitchen and bar. The server will also be responsible for preparing the final bill, processing payments, and maintaining open communication with both the guests and the management to address any needs or feedback promptly. Additional duties include performing necessary side work, participating in weekly team meetings, and occasionally working as a Food Runner.
This role requires a strong commitment to hygiene and grooming standards, excellent interpersonal skills, basic arithmetic ability for handling transactions, and certifications such as Food Handler and TABC. The working environment is dynamic and involves constant movement, standing, and interaction with guests and team members. This is a customer-facing position ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about contributing to a positive dining experience. The hiring details note that applicants must be at least 18 years old and willing to work flexible shifts including Food Runner duties. While previous restaurant experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as full training and support are provided to help new team members succeed in their role. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a hospitality-focused establishment known for its friendly customer service and collaborative workplace culture.
