Job Description
Denny's is a well-established, iconic American diner-style restaurant chain known for its welcoming atmosphere and a menu that caters to a diverse range of tastes throughout the day, from breakfast to late-night meals. Founded in 1953, Denny's has grown to become one of the largest full-service diner chains in the United States, dedicated to delivering comfort food and exceptional customer service. With a reputation built on family-friendly dining and 24-hour availability, Denny's prides itself on creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages. The company emphasizes a 'Guests First' culture, highlighting the significance of attentiveness, friendliness, and responsiveness from its employees.
As a Denny's Server, you are more than just a person who takes orders and delivers food—you are the essential connection between the diner and its guests. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a caring attitude, and a genuine desire to ensure that every visitor enjoys their time at the restaurant without concerns or hassle. The server acts as an advisor and companion to guests, suggesting menu items, answering questions about offerings, and sometimes providing friendly conversation that enriches the dining experience. This position demands a high level of hospitality, multitasking, and teamwork to maintain the smooth operation of the restaurant. Servers contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment by assisting with side work and restocking supplies. The position offers an inclusive workplace environment committed to equal employment opportunities, valuing diversity and various backgrounds. Compensation for the server role typically ranges from $7.25 to $12.24 per hour, depending on factors such as location and experience. Overall, working as a server at Denny's means being part of a team dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and genuine care for every guest's unique dining experience.
