The role of a Server at Bob Evans is critical in delivering the overall guest experience. The Server is responsible for ensuring that every guest receives prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service, contributing to the restaurant’s mission of offering the best family dining experience. This includes taking guest orders with strong menu knowledge and utilizing promotional and situational selling techniques effectively. Servers are expected to serve food and beverages attentively, verifying that all items meet the company’s quality standards and are presented suitably and timely.

Communication is key in this role, as Servers must professionally interact with guests to anticipate their needs, clarify menu information, and share new promotions and product offerings.
