Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to exert well-paced mobility for long periods up to four hours
- able to safely reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds frequently
- able to transport plates, glasses, and baskets about 30 times per shift
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings, and masks throughout shift
- ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies
- ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap
- commitment to making a positive impact
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or the restaurant industry preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
- take accurate food and drink orders and make recommendations
- anticipate guest needs and provide high-quality customer service
- transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas throughout the shift
- communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth service
- adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines consistently
