Job Requirements
- Food handler certification within the county of employment
- ability to stand and work on feet for long hours
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a customer service or restaurant server role preferred
- basic knowledge of food preparation and safety
- knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- team player with a positive attitude
- basic math skills for handling payments
Job Duties
- Prepare tables by laying out napkins and utensils and refilling condiments
- multitask efficiently between guests, including managing phone and in-person service
- maintain a sense of urgency throughout shifts
- support team members and recognize where help is needed
- stay informed about current menu options, specialties, and kitchen inventory
- suggest dishes, assist with drink selection, and communicate guests’ dietary restrictions to kitchen staff
- ensure a proper dining experience including delivering orders, offering desserts and drinks, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
- open and pour wine tableside following proper techniques
- adhere to sidework duties, company policies, and health department standards
- accept guest payments and issue receipts accurately
- perform cleaning tasks as directed
- fill in for absent staff and assist with special events as needed
- greet guests warmly and maintain grooming and appearance standards consistently
- understand and communicate restaurant products and services effectively
- follow Picazzo's Steps of Service
- demonstrate basic wine knowledge and continuously improve menu expertise
