Job Description

Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC) is part of the globally recognized Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a leader in luxury hospitality and vacation ownership. Hyatt Vacation Club focuses on delivering exceptional vacation experiences with high standards of hospitality, service, and guest satisfaction at its resort properties. As a company within the hospitality industry, HVC emphasizes creating meaningful moments for owners, members, and guests by providing personalized and attentive service. HVC is known for its inclusive culture and dedication to employee growth, making it a desirable employer in the leisure and vacation ownership sector. The company values teamwork, flexibility, and integrity, striving to maintain an environment where all associates feel connected by care and inclusivity.

The role of Server at Hyatt Vacation Club is an hourly position paying $19.00 per hour. This position involves actively engaging with guests and delivering exceptional food and beverage services aligned with the company's hospitality standards. Candidates in this role will contribute to the overall success of HVC by ensuring a clean, professional, and hospitable environment while adhering to policies and safety protocols. A flexible schedule is essential as the business operates across varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The Server position requires clear communication, multitasking, and a customer service mindset that anticipates and meets guests' needs. Servers will prepare tables for events, respond promptly to guest inquiries about menus and dietary restrictions, and confirm guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, all while collaborating closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members.

This role may require background checks or drug screening based on company policy and local regulations. Server duties vary based on the property's size and team structure but generally include essential food and beverage service tasks such as maintaining cleanliness, following alcohol service protocols, cash handling, and completing closing procedures. The role emphasizes continuous interaction with guests in a manner that is sincere, professional, and welcoming. New team members will be trained to uphold the high standards expected by Hyatt Vacation Club, gain knowledge about menu offerings, beverages, and POS systems, and learn to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and positivity.

Joining the Hyatt Vacation Club team as a Server presents the opportunity to become part of an expanding and supportive team that values diversity and access. Beyond the core responsibilities, associates are encouraged to embrace the company culture of respect, safety, and teamwork. Furthermore, the Server role is designed to support not only the guest experience but also associate growth through monthly recognition programs, staff celebrations, and practical benefits such as stipends for work shoes and free on-site parking. Employees will work in an environment with safety standards and equipment use training that ensure physical wellbeing and compliance. Ideal candidates will demonstrate dependability, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and a passion for customer service. This position is ideal for individuals looking to thrive in the hospitality industry through meaningful guest connections and collaborative work environments.
