Golden Corral is currently seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join their team as Servers. The Server role is pivotal in fulfilling the company’s mission of "Making Pleasurable Dining Affordable." This means delivering excellent hospitality with a positive attitude and ongoing professionalism. Servers are the face of Golden Corral during dining hours, responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Success in this position requires a clean and neat appearance, courteous interaction with guests, and enthusiasm for the brand and its food offerings.

As a Server at Golden Corral, the core responsibility is to enhance guest satisfaction and promote repeat visits by adhering to the Eight Steps of Service. This includes ensuring that guests’ needs are anticipated and met promptly, fostering a welcoming environment that is inclusive for all customers, and supporting team members to maintain outstanding service levels. Servers are trained to be knowledgeable about menu items, new products, and promotions to better assist guests and improve their dining experience.

In addition to hospitality, Servers contribute to operational excellence by thoroughly understanding product specifications and ensuring accuracy in guests’ orders and receipts. They perform essential opening and closing procedures and side work duties, assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. Servers are also required to identify and report any equipment or facility issues to management, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment. Adherence to proper table bussing and safe work practices is mandatory to guarantee the safety of both guests and coworkers.

Cleanliness is another critical aspect of the Server role. Employees must follow a duty roster that meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards, as well as comply with all local health department regulations. This commitment to sanitation supports the overall guest experience by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment throughout the restaurant.

Golden Corral operates as a franchise model, with individual franchisees managing their locations independently. This ensures that local management can make decisions best suited to their community and customer base. While the Golden Corral Corporation provides the brand framework and standards, the franchisee is responsible for hiring and employment decisions.
