Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • effective communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • willingness to work as part of a team and assist coworkers when needed

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
  • practices positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive
  • aware of guests' needs and works to make their experience pleasurable
  • shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
  • promotes teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service
  • thoroughly understands product specifications and ensures receipts match the number of guests dining
  • performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager
  • familiar with the correct table bussing procedures
  • follows safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
  • performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards
  • follows local health department laws
