Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
effective communication skills
availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
friendly and professional demeanor
willingness to work as part of a team and assist coworkers when needed

Job Qualifications

previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness practices

enthusiasm for learning about new products and promotions

Job Duties

ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
practices positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive
aware of guests' needs and works to make their experience pleasurable
shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
promotes teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service
thoroughly understands product specifications and ensures receipts match the number of guests dining
performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties
brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager
familiar with the correct table bussing procedures
follows safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards
follows local health department laws
